Our privately-owned Company was established in 1993 although its foundations go back to 1986, when our Director, Mr. Michael McCarthy, decided to set up his own business.
The Company has grown year by year and our highly skilled workforce has undoubtedly enabled this steady growth to take place.
The Company specialises in all aspects of painting and decorating and whilst we are happy to carry out work for private individuals our main emphasis is on the commercial sector.
Our commercial work is carried out nationwide and includes work completed on schools, hospitals, museums, offices, factories, colleges and universities.
MJM (Painters & Decorators) Ltd is structured to provide decorating services to our main contractors with project package values ranging from £1,000 up to £1,500,000.
We are specialist in applying fire protection coatings and are approved applicators for Nullifire.
The Company is fully committed to protecting the environment and are actively seeking the eco-friendly route in all aspects of our business.
We currently hold the certificate for can recycling at Dulux Decorator Centres where we recycle 100% of our waste.
Also, MJM (Painters & Decorators) Ltd have just taken delivery of the first solar powered Envirowash system which enables us to clean all of our decorating tools and dispose of our un-used paint in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. The system is the worlds first to be run completely on solar power alone and will allow us to recycle our wash water up to 10 times.
